The FBI Clan and GameOn Leagues will be offering a Team Sponsorhip to one lucky 4v4 Halo team for MLG San Diego 2008. All you have to do is compete and win our 2v2 Halo tournament and the 1st place winner will receive the sponsorship

That's right....we are going to run a 2v2 Double Elimination Halo tournament where the winner gets the sponsorhip. If you win, you can choose whoever you want to accompany you to MLG as your 3rd and 4th team members. In fact, you can even have both pairs of team members compete in this tournament.

Sponsorship Details - The sponsorship will include: 4 flights to San Diego, jerseys, 3 nights hotel, and the team pass.*

Tournament Details - 2v2 tournament. Double elimination. May 24th/25th. That means two full days of Halo action to determine the winner.

MLG and FBI - back together again

If you know competitive Halo gaming then you must have heard of The FBI Clan. They are the people responsible for the successful teams of FBI The Agency and FBI Icon.

The good news for the Halo community is that they want to send another team back to MLG, but this time they want to do it a little differently. By running a tournament where the winning team - no matter what - gets a guaranteed sponsorship to MLG.

However, there are a couple of caveats to entry in this tournament that must be followed.

  1. You or your teammate can not have finished in the top 16 at Meadowlands 2008
  2. You or your teammate can not have finished in the top 8 at the MLG Nationals 2007
  3. You cannot have another sponsor

If you meet the above requirements, then get your teammate and sign up. This tournament should be exciting and nobody can argue with a free trip to beautiful San Diego where you can spend the sunny days inside a dark convention room playing your best Halo against the top players in the country.
